Dr. Alice Ho was born and raised in Metairie, LA. Upon graduating from Grace King High School, she received a full college scholarship to attend the University of Texas at Austin. Afterward, she returned home to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Louisiana State University, in which she graduated with Honors. She went on to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at University Hospital, where she practiced comprehensive dentistry on medically compromised individuals. The year proved to be an invaluable experience as she learned how to manage fearful patients with various levels of sedation through oral and IV.
She knew early on in her career that she wanted to establish her professional career in New Orleans and wanted to give back to the city that had given her so much. To better serve her patients, she stays up to date and travels to hear world-renowned speakers in the field of dentistry. She has taken courses at LSU and The Pankey Institute to further her education in specific areas such as Orofacial pain and TMJ. Her goal for every patient that she encounters is to help them achieve optimal oral health and for her to provide an individualized approach to each person. Most importantly, she hopes to have a personal relationship with all her patients because she finds this part to be the most rewarding part of the dental profession.
During her spare time, she likes to enjoy New Orleans for everything that it has to offer! She especially enjoys the month of April due to the many festivals, French Quarter Fest and Jazzfest, in particular. When she can, she enjoys international travel.
