Shed a Few Shades with Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening (or bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth enamel. It serves as an ideal way to enhance the beauty of your smile.
Because having whiter teeth has become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are now multiple ways to whiten teeth! One of the best teeth whitening method is using a home tooth whitening system that can whiten teeth dramatically.
Since this treatment only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old restorative work such as fillings and crowns. Replacement of any dental restoration will need to be completed after bleaching treatment to ensure that the dental restoration matches the newly bleached natural teeth.

What is Involved in Teeth Whitening Treatment?
Teeth whitening requires two visits. During the first appointment, impressions (molds) of your teeth are made to fabricate custom, clear plastic, trays.
During the second appointment, our team will have you try on the trays for proper fit. Adjustments will be made if necessary.
The trays are worn with special whitening solution either twice a day for 30 minutes or overnight for a couple of weeks depending on the degree of staining and desired level of whitening. It is normal to experience tooth sensitivity during the time you are whitening your teeth, but it will subside shortly after you have stopped bleaching.
You will receive care instructions for your teeth and trays and will be encouraged to visit your dentist regularly to help maintain a beautiful, healthy, white smile. To get the best teeth whitening experience in Louisiana, call us or schedule an appointment today in the form below!
